1- When did you decide to pursue art/illustration as a career?
I've always been on the artistic side, being an artist has always been a destiny. Once graduated from Royal Melbourne University, I started being one, professionally.
2- What are your goals as an artist?
To communicate beauty from my perspective and to inspire.
3- What's your favourite place to developed your ideas?
At nature itself, I often wander the woods in front of my home; every single grain of soil, each fold of leaf, organic flow of branches, wood grains and its age, has its own distinct detail of beauty to it. There's so much beauty in God's creation.
4- Where in the world is your favourite place to see art?
During my trip to Africa. The culture, the people, their art and the surroundings truly did inspire me.
5- What exhibit, that you have seen within the last year, has most influenced you?
The Wangechi Mutu Exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art NSW.
6- Do you collect anything?
Yes, I do. Vintage books and cameras. I love the stories behind them and how details were paid attention more in the past.
7- If you could choose anyone to see your work, who would he or she be?
John Galliano, his a creative genius! I adore his wearable art garments.
8- What is the greatest compliment anyone has ever paid to you regarding your artwork?
'You are an inspiration.'
9- In which walls would you like to see your work exposed in 10/20 years.
My favourite gallery, Museum of Contemporary Art NSW.
